If you’re a fan of mobile gaming, you might be wondering if it’s possible to turn your next gaming session into an income source.
Normally, this is pretty easy. This is because there are so many apps that pay you for playing games out there that you can use to earn gift cards and cash for gaming.
However, most of the leading apps in this category are for Android devices, which presents some challenges for iPhone users.
That’s why I’m covering some of the best apps that let you play iOS games for money that you can use to still have some fun while making a bit of quick cash.
Let’s get to it.
The Best iOS Games That Pay Real Money
There are plenty of paid gaming apps out there, like Mistplay and Rewarded Play, that make it easy to earn rewards while gaming.
But this post is focusing on iOS gaming apps that pay you, not the Android ones. If you have an iPhone, buckle up and get ready to explore some of the best gaming apps you can use.
1. Swagbucks Live
Swagbucks is one of the most popular gpt sites out there, and it lets you make money by answering surveys, playing games, shopping online, and watching ads.
However, it also offers one of the best trivia apps for money called Swagbucks Live.
With Swagbucks Live, you compete in live trivia games against other real players for the chance to win free Swagbucks.
There are 12 rounds, and if you make it to the very end of the game, you split a prize pool of points with everyone else who made it.
Like other trivia apps, questions usually relate to popular topics like entertainment, sports, history, and random facts. Overall, Swagbucks Live is an awesome iOS gaming app that pays, and I used it quite regularly during college.
You can redeem your Swagbucks for a variety of prizes as well, including PayPal money and free gift cards.
2. Gamehag iOS
Another popular way to play iOS games for money is to sign up for Gamehag and then download its mobile app.
With Gamehag’s main platform, you earn rewards for playing popular PC games. But it also has an iOS app that lets you earn rewards for downloading and playing new mobile games.
This is similar to Mistplay, and even though Gamehag works a bit better on Android and desktop, it’s nice it has an iOS app to let you explore the site and new games.
I also like Gamehag since it has unique prizes, including free Steam games, gift cards, in-game skins, and other gaming-related rewards.
You can sign up for Gamehag if you’re ready to make money playing video games!
3. Pocket7 Games
Pocket7 Games is a popular, competitive gaming platform that actually offers several ways to play iOS games for money.
In a nutshell, Pocket7 Games publishes version of classic games like Bingo, Solitaire, and Bubble Shooting games for Android and iOS. You can play these games casually, but you can also compete in one-versus-one cash tournaments against other players.
Some of Pocket7 Games most popular games include:
- Bingo Clash
- Bubble Shot
- 21 Gold
- Tile Blitz
- Fruit Frenzy
I dislike this method of playing iOS games for money slightly more since you have to deposit money and compete to try and win more.
This means it’s possible to lose money with this side hustle, although some players can earn a decent chunk of cash from winning games.
4. InboxDollars
InboxDollars is a popular rewards site that lets you make money by answering surveys, downloading apps, and surfing the web.
However, InboxDollars also lets you make money by playing games. And it has a free iOS app where you can answer surveys and explore the other earning methods to make money while on the go.
I didn’t always like sites like InboxDollars in the past since it had a $30 cash out requirement. However, the minimum redemption amount is now just $10.
Plus, you can cash out your earnings for dozens of free gift cards and PayPal money. And there’s also a nifty $5 sign up bonus to help new members get started.
5. Bingo Cash
I just mentioned playing Bingo and similar classics as a way to play iOS games for cash. So, unsurprisingly, Bingo Cash is another popular app in this genre people use.
Now, I actually tested out Bingo Cash when I wrote a review of it on This Online World. And like I said, I really dislike games that make you deposit cash to compete for the chance to win more.
However, Bingo Cash is one of the most popular paid Bingo apps out there, and if you love playing Bingo and are willing to wager your own money, it could be what you’re looking for.
6. HQ Trivia
Like Swagbucks Live, HQ Trivia is another popular trivia app for Android and iOS that lets you play trivia for cash. It’s actually the first app that made this genre popular, and I used to play it all the time back in college with my housemates.
The idea is very similar to Swagbucks Live; all you have to do is compete in live trivia matches, make it to the end, and then split a cash prize pool with the remaining players.
In the past, HQ Trivia prize pools could be thousands of dollars. And the app sometimes had celebrity guests come on as well to host the show.
The app isn’t as popular these days, but you can still earn some free PayPal cash if you’re good enough to win all rounds of an HQ Trivia game.
7. Solitaire Cash
Solitaire Cash is another popular iOS game that pays cash, and it’s a spin-off of the classic card game Solitaire.
Like Bingo Cash and other similar games, the idea of this app is to compete in paid Solitaire tournaments against other players. If you end up winning, you earn cash prizes and can cash out to your bank account or through PayPal.
Again, I’m really not a fan of this style of gaming app since you have to put your own money on the line to try and win cash tournaments.
Some players enjoy the app and report winning some decent cash prizes. But check out my review that I linked above if you want to know more about the potential risks and rewards of these sorts of games.
8. Buff Gaming
Want to earn passive income? If the answer is yes, then one of the best iPhone games that pay real money you can use is Buff Gaming.
Like Gamehag, Buff’s main platform lets you earn rewards for playing popular PC titles like Valorant, League of Legends, and Call of Duty. However, it also lets you play iPhone games for money with its new mobile gaming section,
The list of available iOS games you can play for money is still small. However, current games include popular titles:
- Brawl Stars
- Clash Royale
- Clash of Clans
Buff lets you redeem points you earn for gaming for rewards like free gift cards, in-game skins, and even gaming merchandise like keyboard and headsets.
You won’t get rich by using Buff. But for making money on autopilot while gaming, it’s one of the best Apple games that pays on the market.
9. Kashkick
While it doesn’t have a mobile app, Kashkick is another legit way to play iPhone games for money.
Kashkick is a paid survey and gaming website that lets you make money by sharing your opinion and completing sponsored offers. It then lets you cash out with free PayPal cash once you earn $10.
The platform actually has a wide variety of games you can download and play to earn. Some of the most popular titles include:
- Dice Dreams
- Solitaire
- Board Kings
- Wordscapes
- Bingo Blitz
- Cooking Madness
- Sarah’s Adventure
- Scrabble Go
I also like how Kashkick keeps adding new ways to earn. And my inside sources tell me that a mobile app is also in the works.
Try out Kashkick today or read my Kashkick review for more info!
10. Givling
If you love playing trivia and you’re currently paying off some student loans or other debt, Givling is another great option to play iOS games for money that you can explore.
This trivia app lets players win up to $50,000 that they can put towards debts like student loans, mortgages, and other financial hardships.
According to its website, Givling has given out over $9 million to players so far. And I really like that its mission is to use a crowdfunding model and donations, plus competitive trivia, to help people deal with their debts.
Of course, your odds of winning a cash prize with Givling are slim. But it still has fun trivia games, and there are smaller weekly cash prizes you can win as well.
Overall, I’d add Givling to your list of paid iOS gaming apps if you’re a trivia fan and are already using apps like Swagbucks Live and HQ Trivia.
11. Drop
Drop is a popular reward app that lets you earn free gift cards for shopping at your favorite stores. It’s also an app I’ve been using for years and have personally cashed out numerous times.
Getting paid to shop is the main way to earn with Drop. However, the platform also added a paid gaming rewards section, so you can now play iOS games for cash as well.
The gaming section isn’t as robust as apps that just focus on gaming. However, there are plenty of gaming offers paying $5 to $10+ worth of points.
You can redeem Drop points for a variety of prizes as well, including free gift cards to companies like Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Starbucks.
Download Drop today or read our Drop app review for all the details.
12. Bubble Cash
Another popular iPhone game for money you can test out your skills with is Bubble Cash.
This arcade-style game where you have to pop bubbles of the same color by launching your bubbles at them. And like a lot of other games on this list, you can compete in paid tournaments against other players to try and win cash prizes.
If you win games, you usually walk away with a few dollars in earnings. And entry fees are generally pretty inexpensive.
I still prefer playing iOS games for cash with platforms like Swagbucks since I don’t have to pay to play. But Bubble Cash is definitely one of the more popular apps in this genre.
13. Skills Games
Skillz is a popular gaming platform that’s very similar to Pocket7 Games. It hosts a variety of competitive games you can download and play to try and win cash prizes.
I’ve written about Skillz on This Online World before, and like I’ve mentioned, this type of gaming side hustle isn’t for me.
However, it’s one of the most popular companies in this space, and it has plenty of opportunities to play iOS games for money like:
- Solitaire Cube
- Cube Cube
- Blackout Bingo
- Pool Payday
- Dominoes Gold
- Big Buck Hunter
- 21Blitz
Some app reviews for these games state that players are earning decent amounts of cash every week. But remember, you can lose money just as easily with these types of games, which is why I personally steer clear of them.
How Much Do iPhone Games For Money Pay?
The truth is that it’s hard to earn a lot playing iOS games for cash since these apps are just fun side hustles, not part- or full-time jobs. In reality, you can probably make $5 to $10 once in a while in your spare time with most of these apps.
Trivia apps can pay more if you get lucky and make it to the end of a trivia game with just a few players. But that can be pretty inconsistent depending on how much of a trivia pro you are.
As for paid gaming apps, they’re potentially more lucrative. However, you can also lose money with these apps, which is why I think other ways to make money online are better.

Alternatives To iPhone Games That Pay Real Money
If you already spend time gaming, you might as well try some iOS game apps that pay to earn some free money in your spare time.
But if you’re looking for more consistent income or higher-paying gigs, I think there are much better alternatives out there like:
- Using paid survey sites like Branded Surveys and Survey Junkie to share your opinion for cash
- Starting to freelance online
- Using gig apps like DoorDash or Uber Eats to make money delivering food
- Using mystery shopping apps to make money while you’re on the go
All of these alternatives are more consistent hustles versus playing iOS games for money. And you can likely earn more per hour as well while working at your own pace.

Final Thoughts
I hope this list of iOS games for money helps you turn your next gaming session into a lucrative side hustle.
As I explained in this post, Apple games that pay aren’t going to replace your day job anytime soon. But it’s a fun way to make a bit of beermoney on the side while you enjoy some downtime.
Just be careful with paid gaming apps that require putting money down for the chance to win larger cash prizes. And have realistic expectations with how much you can earn overall.
Happy gaming!
