A lot of them aren’t worth your time.
But I’ve tested and researched plenty of legitimate money-making websites over the years, and these are some of my favorites.

1. HeyCash
What it is: HeyCash is a rewards website where you can make money by taking surveys, playing games, and completing offers.
How it works: Create a free account, browse the available surveys and offers, and complete the ones you qualify for.
How you cash out: HeyCash lets you cash out through PayPal, bank transfer, or gift cards, depending on your location.
Unique selling point: I like HeyCash because it combines surveys, games, and offers in one place, so you’re not stuck doing just one type of task.
2. Branded Surveys
What it is: Branded Surveys is a paid survey website that rewards you for sharing your opinions with market research companies.
How it works: Fill out your profile, find surveys you’re eligible for, and earn points for completing them. You can also earn through daily polls, challenges, offers, and referrals.
How you cash out: You need at least 500 points to redeem. Rewards include PayPal and various gift cards.
Unique selling point: Branded Surveys has a loyalty program that gives active members additional opportunities to earn bonuses.

3. ShopBack
What it is: ShopBack is a cashback website that pays you when you shop through participating retailers.
How it works: Search for a store on ShopBack, click through to the retailer, and shop normally. ShopBack tracks the purchase and gives you a percentage of your spending back as cashback.
How you cash out: Confirmed cashback can be withdrawn using the available payment options in your country, including PayPal or bank transfers in supported markets.
Unique selling point: Unlike survey sites, you don’t have to complete a bunch of tasks. You can simply earn cashback on purchases you’re already planning to make.
4. Freecash
What it is: Freecash is a get-paid-to website where you can earn rewards for completing surveys, playing games, downloading apps, and completing other offers.
How it works: Browse the offer wall, pick an offer, complete the requirements, and receive rewards in return.
How you cash out: Depending on your location, you can cash out through PayPal, bank transfer, gift cards, cryptocurrency, and other options.
Unique selling point: Freecash has a huge variety of offers, which makes it easy to switch between surveys, games, apps, and other earning opportunities.

5. KashKick
What it is: KashKick is a rewards platform that pays you for completing surveys, playing mobile games, shopping, trying products, and completing other online offers.
How it works: Pick an activity, follow the requirements, and earn cash when you complete the qualifying action.
How you cash out: You can cash out starting at $10 through PayPal and other available reward options.
Unique selling point: KashKick keeps things simple by showing your earnings in dollars rather than making you constantly convert points.

6. Rakuten
What it is: Rakuten is one of the better-known cashback websites, letting you earn money when you shop through its network of participating stores.
How it works: Find a retailer through Rakuten, click through to the store, and shop as usual. The retailer pays Rakuten a commission, and Rakuten shares part of that commission with you.
How you cash out: Rakuten offers several payment options depending on your country, including PayPal and other payment methods.
Unique selling point: Rakuten also has a browser extension that can remind you when cashback is available while you’re shopping online.
7. Nielsen Panel
What it is: Nielsen Panel pays participants for sharing information about their media and internet usage as part of Nielsen’s market research.
How it works: Depending on the panel, you may install Nielsen software or an app on your computer or mobile devices. The software measures your usage, while some participants may also receive invitations to surveys and research opportunities.
How you cash out: Rewards vary by panel and location, with options such as gift cards and other rewards.
Unique selling point: Nielsen is different from most survey websites because much of the earning can be passive. Once you’re set up, you can earn rewards from participating in the panel rather than constantly completing surveys.
8. UserTesting
What it is: UserTesting pays people to test websites, apps, prototypes, and other digital experiences while providing feedback.
How it works: Apply to become a participant, complete the practice test, and then browse available tests from your dashboard. You’ll answer screening questions to see which tests you qualify for.
How you cash out: UserTesting pays through PayPal, and payments are generally sent after the test’s payment period.
Unique selling point: UserTesting can pay differently from traditional survey sites because you’re actually testing products and giving detailed feedback rather than simply answering survey questions.
