These days, there are so many different reward apps you can use to save more money and earn extra rewards.
And out of all the reward apps, Fetch Rewards is definitely one of the most popular.

That’s why this post is covering the best apps like Fetch Rewards you can use to maximize your cash-back rewards so you keep more of your hard-earned money.

The Best Apps Like Fetch Rewards
There are so many apps like Fetch Rewards, and many of them can be used simultaneously.
If you’re up for using several apps, you can maximize your shopping trips and make even more money.
Whether you are new to the world of rewards apps or you’re looking to add another one to your homepage, stay tuned for a rundown of the best apps like Fetch Rewards.
All of the options below are free and available for download on Android and IOS devices as well!
If you want to save money on gas, groceries, and dining, then Upside is one of the best apps like Fetch Rewards that you can use.
This rewards app is available for Android and iOS devices. And currently, it lets you save up to $0.25 per gallon at thousands of gas stations across the United States.
The process is also very similar to Fetch Rewards. All you have to do is find offers, claim them in the Upside app, refuel, and then upload a picture of your receipt to provide proof of purchase.
Upside also has plenty of cash-back deals at popular restaurants, some grocery stores, and convenience stores. But its gas savings are the main selling point for the app.
Rewards are more flexible than Fetch Rewards as well and include dozens of free gift cards plus PayPal cash. You can cash out once you earn $10, which doesn’t take too long.
Sign up for Upside on iOS or Android today and start saving money on your gas bill!
2. Checkout 51
Checkout 51 is another leading grocery reward app that is a great way to save on groceries and, more recently, gas.
The app releases brand new offers every Thursday (just in time for your weekend grocery run!) and they expire the following Wednesday at midnight.
You have to add preferred offers to your in-app shopping list before you go, check them off once you get home, and then upload your receipt. It’s that easy.
This is a bit more manual than Fetch Rewards, but the rebates are often more lucrative.
Now unlike Fetch Rewards, some of the offers on Checkout 51 are store specific or apply only to one flavor or variation of an item, so it’s important to read the fine print for each offer.
Also, many of the offers have limited quantities so they’re granted on a first come-first serve basis, meaning you need to get your shopping done soon after offers are released if you want to get as many deals as possible.
Despite this, regular users can easily earn more than the minimum withdrawal amount of $20 monthly. Checkout 51 pays out via check. PayPal payments are currently in beta testing.
Checkout 51 is available in Canada and the U.S. as well, so it’s one of my favorite apps like Fetch Rewards for Canada.

If you want to earn rewards anytime you shop and not just at specific partners, Pogo is one of the best apps like Fetch Rewards.
With Pogo, you securely connect your debit or credit card to your account to let the app monitor your transactions. Whenever you shop, you get paid for that data, no questions asked.
There’s no receipt-scanning either; the app makes money on autopilot as long as you shop with a linked card.
Pogo’s goal is to pay users for their data, which is why the app is so passive.
However, you can also earn extra rewards by walking into partner stores or by answering short in-app surveys from various brands.
You can cash out where you earn 3,000 points, which is worth $3. Reward options include PayPal cash and Venmo.
Overall, if you want a more passive alternative to Fetch Rewards, Pogo is one of the best options out there right now.
Ibotta is highly regarded in the rewards app community, primarily because it lets you earn cash back at over 500,000 different locations.
In fact, here are a few of the stores where you can earn rewards by shopping with Ibotta:
- Trader Joe’s.
- Family Dollar.
Groceries aside, you can also get cash back for beauty and clothing items from stores like the Gap, Sephora, and Foot Locker.
Ibotta also rewards online shopping, so Amazon orders and grocery delivery services will also make you money. It’s probably the best receipt rewards app around, and if you want more offer depth than Fetch Rewards, Ibotta is your best bet.
To get your cash, you just need to scan your receipts like any other rewards app.
But if you want a tip from the pros: you can get automatic cash back offers whenever you shop if you link a credit card to the app, or link Ibotta to loyalty cards from your favorite retailers.
Even undedicated users will make anywhere from $15-20 a month! Reward options include free gift cards and Venmo and PayPal cash as well!

While Swagbucks is best known as a beermoney website where you can earn extra cash answering surveys and playing games.
However, what a lot of people don’t know is that Swagbucks has a new receipt scanning that also makes this a viable Fetch Rewards alternative that’s in more countries.
You can find certain receipt-specific offers as well, like earning 15 SB for uploading a receipt from a clothing retailer as an example.
Like Fetch Rewards, different types of stores are also eligible for the program, including:
- Grocery stores
- Home improvement stores
- Department and clothing stores
- Fast food and casual dining
- Big box and warehouse clubs
Plus, Swagbucks accepts receipts from over 1,100 stores in the United States, Canada, and the UK. Some notable stores include Aldi, Walmart, Target, and Kroger.
And aother nifty Swagbucks hack is its e-receipts program, which lets you earn cashback for shopping online at your favorite stores and forwarding your e-receipt to Swagbucks.
Ultimately, these features help make Swagbucks a pretty robust micro task website.
You can’t replace your day job with this gpt site, of course, but it’s a viable Fetch Rewards alternative to earn some free gift cards and PayPal cash.
6. NCP Mobile
A newer but lucrative app like Fetch Rewards you can try is called NCP Mobile.
This shopping rewards app from the National Consumer Panel is available for Android and iOS and is extremely similar to Fetch Rewards.
All you have to do is scan product barcodes of the products you shop for and then answer a few questions about those products.
In return, NCP Mobile lets you redeem points for a variety of free gift cards.
A lack of free PayPal cash is a downside, but NCPMobile gift card rewards start at $10, which is attainable after submitting around 30 to 40 product scans.
This takes some work, but if you’re already using reward apps like Fetch Rewards to make money, you can add NCP Mobile into the routine to get even more rewards.
Plus, the app also pays you for answering short surveys, so you can potentially cash out even faster.
Try out NCP Mobile for Android or iOS!
While Rakuten isn’t a receipt-scanning app, this is still one of the best Fetch Rewards alternatives if you shop online from your computer or smartphone.
With Rakuten, you can earn real cash back when you shop at thousands of retailers, including popular partners like:
- Best Buy
- Old Navy
The main way to earn with Rakuten is to shop through its website or shopping extension. But, you can also shop through your phone as well.
Rakuten offers usually pay 1% to 5% cash back, but you can find plenty of offers from 10% to 20% or more.
And right now, Rakuten is also giving users $30 in cash back for free when they sign up and spend at least $30 on an eligible purchase.
You get paid through check or with PayPal cash every quarter as long as you have $5 or more in your account balance.
To date, I’ve earned over $1,000 by using Rakuten to shop online and from referring people, and it’s one of my favorite alternatives to Fetch Rewards for online shopping.
Sign up for Rakuten today and get $30 for free!

For all of you Canadians looking to earn some cash back, Caddle is one reward app which is only available in the Great White North.
Like Fetch Rewards, Caddle pays you for buying sponsored grocery products and household essentials from pretty much any major grocery store.
Caddle requires you to upload a photo of your receipt and manually redeem the offers after purchase, so it’s less passive than Fetch Rewards.
However, Caddle provides deals that can be used at most Canadian retailers and many items will earn you $1 or more, meaning a single shopping trip can easily get you to the minimum cash credit amount.
Similar to Checkout 51, you need a minimum of $20 to request payment via check.
Not only does it give you offers and promoted products to browse, but there are also surveys and ads to engage with in the app which will earn you even more rewards.
Checkout our Caddle review for more information!
Drop is another nifty rewards app that is an absolute must-download if you like shopping through your smartphone.
To earn cash back with Drop, all you have to do is link your credit or debit card and shop through the offers on the app or at affiliate stores. Purchases you make from these brands through the app will then earn you points which you can redeem for gift cards!
You can also earn money for playing games and completing surveys.
Every 1,000 points are equivalent to $1, and the gift card variety is a major plus of Drop.
Currently, gift card options include:
- Dunkin’ Donuts.
- Old Navy.
Gift card rewards start at $5 if you shop through the app at least once. Otherwise, you rewards start at $25.
Drop isn’t exactly like Fetch Rewards, but it’s a nice way to mix up the rewards you earn from shopping and to earn more gift cards. Plus, with our Drop invite code, you can get up to 15,000 in free Drop points to earn rewards even faster!

ReceiptPal isn’t exactly a grocery rewards app.
In fact, you can earn rewards for uploading almost any kind of shopping receipt you have.
However, ReceiptPal is like Fetch Rewards since the entire system centers around uploading your receipts to earn rewards.
ReceiptPal uses an anonymous version of the information collected from your receipts, combined with those of other users. This information is used by other companies to inform their products and marketing decisions, based on consumer purchase behaviour.
Any receipt can qualify, as long as you submit it within a week, it’s in english, and it has information of the retailer you made the purchase from.
This means that just about everything is covered, including groceries, gas, electronics, restaurants, and even car dealerships.
Once you submit a receipt you will receive points in return, which can eventually be used to redeem free gift cards to retailers like:
- The Home Depot.
- Prepaid Visa Cards.
ReceiptPal won’t make you rich, and receipts are definitely less lucrative than finding rebates on apps like Checkout 51 or Fetch Rewards. However, since almost any receipt is eligible, ReceiptPal makes up for this slightly.
Checkout our ReceiptPal review for all the details!
11. Receipt Hog
Receipt Hog is very similar to ReceiptPal in that they collect the anonymous information from your receipts and your answers to the in-app surveys, which they then sell to third party companies as entire reports.
However, one major difference is that Receipt Hog is more widely available, as it works in the US, as well as Canada and the UK.
The app motivates you with weekly bonuses, a progress bar, and different levels you can reach the more receipts you upload.
Not to mention the payout you get once you’ve collected enough coins, which you can redeem as an Amazon gift card, Visa or Mastercard Gift Card, or through PayPal.
In the US & Canada, coin to cash conversion is as follows:
- 1,000 coins = $5
- 2,900 coins = $15
- 4,300 coins = $25
- 6,500 coins = $40
This is another app where a big payout depends on your dedication, but it’s definitely a legitimate way to make some extra money from all of your purchases– just make sure you upload your receipts within 2 weeks, otherwise they no longer qualify!
Checkout our Receipt Hog review for even more details!
12. Ampli ($5 Sign Up Bonus)
Ampli is a Canadian cash back app that’s powered by the Royal Bank of Canada.
It’s also another awesome way to earn rewards for shopping, just like Drop and Fetch Rewards.
Once you’ve linked your debit or credit card to the app, Ampli will automatically link your purchases to available cash back offers and add it to your balance.
They also run monthly Dreamstakes challenges which set you up to win major cash prizes.
Currently, Ampli works with partners like:
Plus, cash back you earn can also be coupled with loyalty programs and coupons you already use, so it’s a great way to get more out of your shopping trips.
The best part about Ampli is that you can pocket your cash super easily– just send yourself an Interac e-transfer once you’ve hit the $15 minimum. No need to worry about PayPal fees or snail mail waiting periods!
Signup for Ampli today and use the code WORLD5 for a free $5 sign up bonus when you open your Ampli account!

13. Amazon Shopper Panel
If you’re a frequent Amazon shopper, then the Amazon Shopper Panel is one of the best apps like Fetch Rewards out there.
This app pays you for uploading your everyday shopping receipts. As long as you upload 10 receipts per month, you get a free $10 Amazon gift card.
This is $120 per year in free gift cards, which is pretty sweet. And you can earn even more if you answer short in-app surveys that pop up occasionally.
The downside is there’s a waiting list for the Amazon Shopper Panel. Additionally, it’s only available in the United States.
However, if you want free Amazon gift cards, it’s one of the best Fetch Rewards alternatives.
One final app like Fetch Rewards that you can use to earn PayPal cash and gift cards is Shopkick.
This free app is available for Android and iOS. And if you do a lot of shopping for your house, it’s a must-have app.
What I like about Shopkick is that there’s so many ways to earn, including:
- Walking into stores
- Shopping with a linked card
- Scanning barcodes
- Uploading receipts
- Watching ads
Points you earn, which are called Kicks, are redeemable for dozens of gift cards and PayPal money. And you can redeem some rewards at just $2, which is similar to Fetch Rewards.
My post on the best Shopkick hacks has tips for how you can earn more kicks. And I also have a post on the best apps like Shopkick for more ideas to earn with.
Why People Use Alternatives To Fetch Rewards
Fetch Rewards is undeniably one of the most popular grocery reward apps.
It’s also a great source of passive income because the app pays you for buying brand name items and doesn’t make you activate offers before scanning your receipt– getting you to your savings that much quicker.
If you’re someone that is loyal to a number of brands, Fetch Rewards can help you save without having to branch out from your usual shopping list.
However, Fetch Rewards isn’t available in every country. And it doesn’t have rewards for some categories, like gas, whereas options like Upside and Checkout 51 do.
Ultimately, Fetch Rewards is a great app to earn some freebies while you do most of your household shopping. But don’t be afraid to explore some alternatives that might pay more for certain categories.
