Global Phone Farming Apps and Passive Income Websites

Since staring This Online World, my phone farming guide has always been my most popular post:

phone-farming-guide

I’ve managed to also expand my phone farming guide into phone farming app reviews, and I’ve covered other ways people can earn passive income or make money online.

People have even emailed me to give their own phone farming updates, ask me questions about earning money online, or how they can start their own side hustle.

However, I’ve also received many emails along the lines of:

  • “Can I start a phone farm in X country?”
  • “Does this passive income app work where I’m from?”
  • “How do I start a phone farm if I live outside of the United States?”

After receiving dozens of messages along the same lines, I have come to the realization that my guides have left out a global segment of my readership.

Starting a phone farm is great. Earning passive income with apps and websites is also nice.

However, I do realize that a lot of opportunities I mention on This Online World are exclusive to the United States and Canada.

In an effort to broaden the value I provide to global readers, I want to go more in depth and cover some global phone farming apps and ways to earn passive income with websites and GPT platforms.

This post will cover:

  • Data collection apps and passive income apps.
  • Global phone farming apps.
  • The best global GPT websites.

Let’s get to it!

Global Data Collection Apps and Passive Income Apps:

McMoney:

mcmoney-app-make-money

I’m excited to cover McMoney in this post because I have never covered a SMS based app that can earn income.

So, what is McMoney?

Well, it’s an immensely straightforward passive income app that rewards you with money for sending text messages to your phone.

When you sign up for McMoney, you will receive between 1-5 text messages per day and earn $0.02/text message.

According to their website, McMoney send you text messages in order to ‘test the SMS reach of different telecom networks across the world.’

I don’t know if this is necessarily true, but I suppose money is money.

In any case, you can delete or ignore every text message you receive from McMoney, and just bank the money.

There is a $5 payout threshold, which is somewhat high, but McMoney will eventually generate that amount.

I expect that with this app, you can probably earn about $10-$15 per year without doing anything.

I imagine the frequency of text messages you receive depends on your location, but the app is advertised as being a global app.

As long as you don’t mind receiving text messages every day, McMoney is a decent passive income app!

Score: 2/5.

Earning Potential: $0.02-$0.10/day.

Passive Earning Ability: Purely passive.

Available Countries: Global.

Verdict: Install McMoney if you don’t mind receiving texts!

MoneySMS:

moneysms-passive-earning-app

If you though McMoney was the only passive income app that I am going to mention, think again!

MoneySMS is another app that pays users for receiving daily SMS messages (also in order to test various cell provider networks).

Like McMoney, MoneySMS just requires a phone number and active phone to start earning.

Once you sign up, you’ll receive a $0.25 welcome bonus and earn $0.02/SMS you receive.

MoneySMS typically sends 1-2 messages every 24 hours, so it’s a slow but steady passive money maker.

MoneySMS is also slightly better than McMoney, with a 2 Euro payout minimum.

Ultimately, if you combine McMoney and MoneySMS together, you can scrape some extra passive income every year!

Score: 2.5/5.

Earning Potential: $0.02-$0.04/day.

Passive Earning Ability: Purely passive.

Available Countries: Global.

Verdict: Install MoneySMS if you don’t mind receiving texts!

Also, use my referral code 46FFBFE18 upon signup to receive an additional $0.25 bonus!

CashMagnet:

cash-magnet-app

While I’ve already mentioned CashMagnet before in my 2nd post on the best phone farming apps, I need to mention it here as well since it is a global application.

But, here’s the thing: CashMagnet is not performing well for me, as of late.

Check out my earning history for CashMagnet:

cashmagnet-earnings-passive-income

You’ll notice earnings were great at the start, but have slowly settled down to about $0.05-$0.20/day.

I’m only running 2 phones on CashMagnet at the moment, but despite decreased earnings, I still believe this is an app to keep an eye on.

The passive earning ability is just superb, and even at $0.05-$0.20/day, I think I’ll continue to run CashMagnet at night with my phone farm.

Granted, the the CashMagnet team still needs to fix some issues, but I’m going to try to stick this one out for the time being.

However, I’m definitely changing my score from the initial 5/5 I granted the app:

Score: 2.5/5.

Earning Potential: $0.05-$0.2/day.

Passive Earning Ability: Passive runtime depends on level. 2.5 hours at beginner level.

Available Countries: Global.

Verdict: Install CashMagnet on 2-4 devices if you don’t have better alternatives.

Other Passive Income Apps:

I’ve touched upon some of these apps before, but they also need to be included in this list!

Some alternative passive income apps include:

  • Panel AppEarn $1/month – available in the U.S., Canada, the U.K, Australia
  • Google Opinion Rewards – Earn free Google Play Store credits – available in most countries.
  • Electroneum – Passively earn this mobile-specific crypto currency without actually mining on your phone. This app is global.

Check out my more in-depth review on Electroneum in my 2nd post on the best phone farming apps.

Global GPT Websites and Ways to Make Money Online:

If phone farming or earning passive income with a cell phone isn’t for you, perhaps working with computers might be up your alley!

I recently interviewed 2 pros in the world of beermoney, and have decided to spend more time investigating GPT (get paid to) websites and ways to earn money with a computer or laptop.

GPT websites allow users to earn money in passive or active forms by completing offers.

The most common ways to make money with GPT sites include:

  • Watching videos.
  • Answering surveys.
  • Signing up for services/trials.
  • Downloading apps.

Personally, I like to utilize videos to earn passive income, but as my 2 interviewees have proven, you can really push GPT websites to the limits!

Let’s take a look at some global GPT sites and ways to make money online.

Earnably:

earnably-gpt-website

Earnably is a popular GPT website that has most of the popular offer wall options you would expect from any major GPT platform.

With Earnably, users can make money by answering surveys, watching videos, downloading apps, or even playing games.

Like with many GPT sites, you’ll realistically only be able to earn a few dollars per hour (or day) tops, but the website does pay users.

However, you can leave videos running to passively earn income in the background (which is always my recommendation).

Once you reach Earnably’s $2 cash-out minimum, you can redeem your points for gift cards, PayPal, or Bitcoin.

Ultimately, Earnably isn’t a bad way to get started with the world of GPT websites!

Score: 3/5.

Earning Potential: Varies

Passive Earning Ability: Offer walls like Engageme.TV can run passively for 3 approximately 3 hours. Other tasks require work.

Available Countries: Earnably is available in every country except for these 24 countries.

Verdict: Use Earnably if other popular GPT websites aren’t available in your country.

Grindabuck:

grindabuck-gpt

When it comes to GPT sites and making money online, Grindabuck is one of my favorite platforms.

Personally, I don’t complete many offers that aren’t passive (although I have, on occasion).

For me, passive income is where it’s at, and this is why I enjoy using Grindabuck on my laptop.

Grindabuck has a variety of common GPT offerings such as surveys, app installs, sign-up bonuses, PTC (paid to click) tasks, and more.

Additionally, Grindabuck also has a daily check-in bonus, and a VIP program that rewards the top users with bonuses points every month.

Overall, Grindabuck is a robust GPT platform that offers users a multitude of ways to earn money.

However, the Grindabuck passive video section is where it’s at for me.

Grindabuck has several passive video programs that pay money to choose from, including:

  • Engageme.tv
  • Video Loyalty
  • Video Lab
  • MinutesStaff
  • HyprMX
  • Discovery Media

If you have a spare laptop or don’t mind running Grindabuck in the background of your computer, you can easily earn $0.50-$1.50/day with the passive earning portal (from my experience).

On Grindabuck, you can also cash out your points for a variety of rewards, such as gift cards, cryptocurrency, and PayPal cash.

To date, I’ve earned a bit over $35 from Grindabuck, and I haven’t really used the platform too often in recent months (I still generate some passive income from referrals, however):

grindabuck-earnings

Grindabuck does has a fairly intensive verification process, and you’ll need to provide proof of identity before your first redemption.

However, this additional layer of security means Grindabuck is a more trustworthy platform as a whole, and this ultimately benefits advertisers, Grindabuck, and the user pool.

You’ll have to reach $10 for your first cash out threshold, which is a bit steep, but the patience is worth it.

After your first redemption, you’ll be able to cash out at lower brackets ($5 at first, and eventually $1 when you’ve earned enough as a user).

Score: 4/5.

Earning Potential: $0.25-$1+/day depending on effort.

Passive Earning Ability: Varies based on offers.

Available Countries: U.S., Canada, UK, Germany, Australia.

Verdict: Use Grindabuck if you’re looking to make some extra passive income with your computer!

Earn Honey:

earnhoney-earn-money-online

Earn Honey is one of the more interesting GPT websites to include on this list as it is also one of the most versatile and innovative platforms in the industry.

Earn Honey has a host of popular GPT options and offer walls available.

With Earn Honey, users can make money by answering surveys, watching videos, downloading apps, or completing other CPA based offers.

However, since its founding in 2014, Earn Honey has made strides in the GPT space by attempting to put users first and differentiate their platform.

Earn Honey was one of the first GPT platforms to really push for low cash out thresholds. With Earn Honey, users are generally able to cash out within the $1-$2 range, meaning they can actually enjoy their earnings sooner.

Earn Honey also own and operates Discovery Media, a passive video portal, and have integrated their reward system into browser-based games such as 2048 on their website.

Additionally, Earn Honey has also converted their former point system (Honey Dollars) into OPTin: a new cryptocurrency that works on the premise of allowing users to opt-in to selective advertising and benefit from their data being utilized.

In other words, OPTin is aiming to be a leading coin for market research and advertising purposes.

As users browse the web or use Earn Honey, information such as the user’s shopping preferences and browsing habits will be collected (through the use of a Chrome extension).

Periodically, users will be informed what data was collected from them, and will also be rewarded with OPTin for selling this data.

The raw data gathered from thousands of users will be verifiable, and also of great interest to marketing/advertising companies.

It’s pretty neat. You get the benefit of blockchain security, user-publisher transparency, and an advertisement/media economy that benefits authentic usage.

Theoretically, if OPTin becomes increasingly valuable, users can benefit from obtaining and HODLing OPTin tokens.

Alternatively, if users wish to exchange their OPTin for common GPT rewards like gift cards or PayPal, Earn Honey will always buy back OPTin tokens at a rate of 10 OPTin = $1 USD.

This guaranteed monetary value makes Earn Honey a very alluring GPT platform. Users can benefit from cryptocurrency growth, or simply cash out their OPTin tokens for monetary reward.

So, at the end of the day, I’d say keep an eye on Earn Honey and consider giving this innovative GPT platform a try.

At the very least, Earn Honey operates just like any other GPT website if you simply exchange your OPTin tokens for cash.

However, there’s always the potential for Earn Honey to shake up the advertising industry, creating a valuable cryptocurrency that benefits early adopters.

I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see!

Score: 4/5.

Earning Potential: $0.25-$1+/day depending on effort.

Passive Earning Ability: Varies based on offers.

Available Countries: Performs best in U.S/Canada but available in a majority of countries.

Verdict: Use Earn Honey if you want to mix up your GPT routine and try something new! Also, their passive video section is great!

ClixSense:

Clixsense-gpt-websiteWhen it comes to global GPT websites, ClixSense is a commonly cited and recommended website by many GPT lovers.

Of all the GPT websites and ways to generate passive income I’ve mentioned in this post, ClixSense is the only platform I have not tried.

However, I’ve heard enough people mention this platform, so I figure I’d include it.

ClixSense has all the popular offers users would look for in a GPT website: surveys, CPA offers, videos, and more.

Additionally, ClixSense also has a daily checklist that rewards users with 16% of their daily earnings as a bonus if they complete every item on the checklist.

On top of that, users who install the ClixSense browse add-on can also earn an extra 2% of a bonus.

But wait, there’s more! Frequent ClixSense users can also gain an activity bonus, which grants another 2% of a bonus.

Taking these bonus opportunities into account, ClixSense can be a higher-than-average paying GPT website if you happen to receive a lot of offers/surveys in your area.

However, if you are unlucky and there’s a lack of offers, you might not be able to complete your offers for consecutive days.

At the end of the day, I think ClixSense is worth trying if other GPT websites aren’t performing for you.

ClixSense is available in almost every country, and while users in ‘Tier 1’ countries like the U.S. or Canada will find more offers, ClixSense does have a global user base.

Score: 3.5/5.

Earning Potential: $0.25-$1+/day depending on effort.

Passive Earning Ability: Varies based on offers.

Available Countries: Performs best in U.S/Canada but available in a majority of countries.

Verdict: Use ClixSense if other GPT websites are letting you down.

SwagBucks:

Swagbucks search reward program

If you are looking for one of the most popular and trustworthy GPT websites around, look no further than Swagbucks.

I’ve mentioned Swagbucks before in several of my posts, and it is one of the most dominant GPT websites out there.

However, Swagbucks is only available in the United States, Canada, the UK, and Australia, so keep this in mind when considering this GPT offer.

I currently use Swagbucks on one of my phone farming devices, and the passive video section is a great way to earn points every day:

Swagbucks-earn-passive-income

To date, I’ve earned roughly $34 with one of my Swagbucks account, with most of this income coming from daily video watches.

Swagbucks also offers a daily checklist like ClixSense, and users can earn additional SB by completing the list.

At the end of the day, if Swagbucks is available in your country, it isn’t a bad idea to generate some passive income or shop through their website for cash back on products!

Some Final Thoughts:

GPT websites or phone farming isn’t for everyone.

Neither side hustle will make you rich, although after my interview with Fishering and TheMightyOx earlier this month, I realize that the world of beermoney does a lot of good.

It doesn’t matter if you’re trying to save up a little bit of cash, buy a new gadget from Amazon, or put your earnings towards rent/bills; GPT websites or passive income apps can make life easier.

Since I have readers from around the world, I wanted to share a list of global options people can use to earn a bit of extra income.

I’ve only tried most of these apps in Canada, so I can’t vouch for their performance in other parts of the world.

However, the apps are marketed as mostly global platforms, and they have users from dozens of countries.

Hopefully, at least one of these GPT websites or passive income apps will work for you!

Thanks for reading!
