Out of all the gaming reward apps, Mistplay is definitely one of the most popular.
This Android app lets you play games for money, so you can explore new mobile apps and earn free gift cards in rewards in the process.
However, Mistplay is just one of many gaming reward apps.
Plus, Mistplay isn’t available for iOS. And the platform has a higher cash out requirement for PayPal cash than some similar apps.
So, if you want to try some other apps like Mistplay, you’re in luck. I’ve tested out dozens of gaming reward apps over the years, and there’s no shortage of choice.
In fact, there are actually plenty of Mistplay alternatives that you can use to earn rewards while gaming, so you can finally turn your hobby into a new side hustle!

The Best Apps Like Mistplay
If you want to try some of the best apps like Mistplay, you’re in the right place!
I’ve been testing out these gaming apps for years. And over this time, I’ve found some of the best ones to make extra money that also have the best game selection.
And many of the following Mistplay alternatives work for iOS or offer different rewards and earning methods than Mistplay, leaving you with more options to make extra money!
1. Rewarded Play
Rewarded Play is one of the most popular apps like Mistplay. In fact, it’s your best alternative if you want to earn gift cards for playing a wide variety of different games.
Like Mistplay, Rewarded Play lets you get free gift cards and other prizes for downloading and playing new mobile games.
The games list is extremely diverse, and this is one advantage of Rewarded Play. You can download categories like puzzles, cards, strategy, and board games.
I tested out Rewaded Play for a while, and I’ve found that it’s the closest Mistplay alternative and even has better game selection sometimes.
Rewarded Play doesn’t offer PayPal cash as a reward just like Mistplay. However, you have so many different free gift card options like:
You need $5 to cash out, which is quite low for the world of gaming reward apps. And if you run out of Mistplay games to play, Rewarded Play is a very similar app you can use to keep earning.
Try out Rewarded Play or read our Rewarded Play review or Mistplay vs Rewarded Play post for all the details!
2. Swagbucks
Swagbucks is one of the most popular get-paid-to websites out there, and it’s actually one of my first ever college side hustles.
Swagbucks is also more versatile than most apps like Mistplay and lets you earn SB, the platform’s point system, with methods like:
- Answering surveys
- Searching the web
- Watching ads for money
- Playing mobile games
- Getting paid to shop
- Uploading shopping receipts
- Playing trivia games for money
Surveys are the main way to earn points, but the shopping offers can also be quite lucrative.
Plus, Swagbucks is similar to apps like Fetch Rewards and lets you upload shopping receipts to earn even more points.
The game selection isn’t as good as Mistplay, but if you shop for your household and want more earning options, Swagbucks is worth it. And, it’s one of the best Mistplay iOS alternatives since you can play its paid trivia games on iPhones.
Reward options include dozens of gift cards and free PayPal money. Like Mistplay, many gift cards are available at $1 as well, so you can cash out in a single day!
If you want to maximize your earnings, read our post on the best Swagbucks hacks to make more money.
You can also sign up for Swagbucks if you’re ready to start earning!
3. Cash Giraffe
If you want fast payouts, then Cash Giraffe is one of my all-time favorite apps like Mistplay there is.
This Android-only app pays you with PayPal cash and gift cards for downloading and playing new games. It’s basically a clone of Mistplay, but it has excellent game variety across a variety of genres.
However, the advantage of Cash Giraffe vs Mistplay is that you can cash out on Cash Giraffe starting at just $0.20.
When I tested out the app, I found it easy to use and that the games were decent. And the fact you can get PayPal cash after just a bit of playtime is a plus.
Try out Cash Giraffe or read my Cash Giraffe review for more info!
4. Blitz Win Cash
When it comes like apps like Mistplay for iPhone, one of my personal favorites is Blitz Win Cash.
This gaming app lets you compete in tournaments in a variety of games, including Bingo, Solitaire, Match 3, and Pool. And it’s one of the highest paying apps since tournaments can pay winners $50 to $75 or even more.
Again, this Mistplay alternative for iOS isn’t on Android, so it’s not for everyone.
Additionally, you need to pay small entry fees to compete in tournaments. So, if you want to get free money without paying or competing, it’s not the app for you.
But if you want a high-paying phone side hustle that has a variety of games to choose, Blitz Win Cash is worth trying.
Note that cash games aren’t available in these states: AR, MT, LA, and TN.
5. Money Well
Another popular app like Mistplay you can try is Money Well, a gaming rewards app for Android.
With over 10 million downloads, Money Well is one of the larger Mistplay alternatives out there. It lets you play a wide variety of new games in exchange for tickets that you can redeem for PayPal cash and gift cards.
Mistplay has better game variety than Money Well in my opinion. But I like Money Well since it has PayPal rewards starting at only $0.50, which is much lower than Mistplay’s $10 requirement.
Gift card variety is also pretty extensive. And new games get added as you download and play more games.
Overall, Money Well is similar to Mistplay and other instant money apps like JustPlay. If you’re an Android gamer, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Try out Money Well or read my Money Well review for more details.
6. Kashkick
Kashkick is another popular website like Mistplay that also lets you make money with online surveys.
You can also complete paid shopping offers with Kashkick to make money or download new mobile games to earn points.
Overall, Kashkick is a more versatile app than Mistplay, although surveys are the main way you make money with this app.
That said, Kashkick has decent game selection, including popular mobile games like:
- Billionaire
- Coin Master
- Harvest Land
- Kings Throne
- Kings of Avalon
- Mafia City
- Scrabble Go
You have to complete certain levels or milestones in games to earn, but plenty of offers pay $5 to $10+ upon completion.
You need to earn $10 to cash out, and Kashkick pays you with PayPal cash which isn’t common for Mistplay competitors.
Just note that Kashkick doesn’t have an app quite yet, so you have to use the desktop version. Although a mobile app is in the works!
Read my Kashkick review for all the details or try out Kashkick today!
7. AppStation
If you’re still looking for apps like Mistplay you can try, AppStation is another popular option worth trying.
Like Mistplay, AppStation lets you download and play different games to earn coins. You then exchange coins for a variety of free gift cards or PayPal money.
Some AppStation games you can play include:
- Angry Birds 2.
- Dragon City.
- Candy Crush.
- Coin Master.
- Star Trek Timeline.
- WildScapes.
- Words with Friend
You need to earn $5 in coins to cash out, and AppStation pays less than Mistplay in my experience. AppStation earnings also decline more quickly than Mistplay games, so games barely pay anything after you play them for a few hours.
Overall, this means Mistplay is better than AppStation. However, if you run out of Mistplay games, you can give AppStation a try.
Try out AppSation or read my AppStation review for more details.
8. PlaytestCloud
Out of all the apps like Mistplay, PlaytestCloud definitely has the highest earning potential.
This user testing platform actually pays you to test new mobile games and apps and to provide your feedback.
This is similar to websites like UserTesting that pay you for testing websites that are in development.
PlaytestCloud pays you around $10 per test you complete, and tests only take around 10 to 20 minutes to complete.
The main downside of user testing gigs is that you don’t get tests very often, so you can’t just test games as long as you want to make hundreds of dollars.
However, for an occasional $10 in free money, PlaytestCloud is one of the best alternatives to Mistplay out there.
9. Drop
Drop is one of our favorite reward apps, and the main way to make money with this app is to shop at your favorite brands.
This is because Drop is fairly similar to Rakuten and pays you with points for shopping at partner merchants. You then redeem Drop points for a variety of free gift cards.
However, Drop has a new games section that lets you download and play new mobile games to earn, just like Mistplay.
Many Drop games are the same as Mistplay games, so you can try plenty of strategy, action, and adventure games.
Drop games usually require reaching a certain in-game level to earn points, but plenty of games pay $10 to $20 worth of points as well.
And, if you sign up with a Drop invite code, you can get up to $15 worth of free points as well to sweeten the deal! Overall, Drop is one of the best apps like Mistplay if you want to play games and also shop through your smartphone to earn rewards.
Note that you need to connect your debit or credit card to your Drop account to earn points from shopping offers.
Read our Drop app review for more information.
10. Gamehag
If you play a variety of mobile and PC games, Gamehag is one of the best alternatives to Mistplay out there.
With Gamehag, you earn Soul Gems for playing different PC games and mobile apps and completing missions.
The best part about Gamehag is that many of the PC games are actually quite good, including the likes of War Thunder, World of Warships, and Raid Shadow Legends.
Mobile game selection is also improving, and the reward options are also more creative than Mistplay.
For example, Gamehag lets you redeem Soul Gems for free gift cards, Steam codes, and even prizes like in-game skins for CS:GO, Valorant, and other popular games.
Overall, Gamehag is the best app like Mistplay if you’re a serious gamer. Plus, you can download Gamehag for iOS and Android, whereas Mistplay isn’t on iOS. The only downside is a lack of PayPal rewards, but hopefully this gets added at some point.
Read our Gamehag review for more info or sign up for Gamehag!
11. Toluna
Toluna is a popular game app that pays you with PayPal cash, so it had to make this list of the best apps like Mistplay.
You can also use the web version of Toluna, and there are several ways to make money, including:
- Answering surveys
- Answering short polls
- Playing games
- Winning contests
- Referring friends
The main downside of Toluna versus Mistplay is that Toluna only has a few games you can play.
But, if you want to play games and answer surveys to make extra cash in your spare time, it’s a viable option.
Most Toluna rewards require 30,000 points to cash out, which is worth $10. Rewards include free gift cards and PayPal money unlike Mistplay.
Like Mistplay, Toluna is available in dozens of countries, making it a very popular gpt website around the world.
Read our Toluna review for all the details or sign up for Toluna today!
12. App Flame
App Flame is another popular app like Mistplay that lets you play a variety of mobile games to earn prizes.
This beermoney app is basically a carbon copy of Mistplay as well; you just download App Flame and then download apps for money that you find interesting.
Games display how many points you earn per minute for playing, so the reward system is a bit different from Mistplay’s achievement-based system.
You can cash out PayPal money alongside a variety of free gift cards to companies like Amazon, Starbucks, and Best Buy.
Mistplay is definitely better than App Flame because it offers more games and pays a bit more.
However, if you run out of Mistplay games or want to try some viable alternatives, App Flame is still a reliable Android game that pays real money.
13. Flash Rewards
Flash Rewards is another Android app like Mistplay where you play games to earn rewards. There’s nothing groundbreaking here, and this is really another Mistplay clone that’s ideal for Android gamers.
Some games on Flash Rewards you can currently play include:
- Bingo Blitz
- Bingo Clash
- Coin Master
- Candy Crush
- Clash of Clans
- Grand Harvest
- Munchies Rise
- Lucky Level
- Pirate Kingdom
- Risk
- Zynga Poker
Flash Rewards also has a paid offer section that’s similar to Drop, so this app is a bit more versatile than Mistplay.
Some of these offers even pay $50 or more, although you have to spend real money to complete them.
You cash out once you earn 5,000 points which is worth $5. Rewards include free gift cards, prepaid Visas, and PayPal money.
14. Coin Pop
Coin Pop is another popular Mistplay alternative that’s available for Android. Like Mistplay, you download Coin Pop and then download different mobile games that you play to earn points.
There’s a decent variety of game genres, including puzzle money games, strategy, word games, multiplayer, card, and board games.
Now, Coin Pop has a lower earning potential than Mistplay, so I think it’s a useful backup app but not a direct replacement.
However, there are lots of gift card rewards, and you can also cash out through PayPal.
Plus, many Coin Pop gift cards only require $0.50 to $2.50 to cash out, so this app is similar to Mistplay in terms of cash out requirements.
15. AppNana
AppNana is another app like Mistplay for iOS and Android, so it’s available on more device types out of the gate.
As with Mistplay, you have to download and play sponsored AppNana games to earn points and prizes.
The game selection is worse than Mistplay, but AppNana also has a small video rewards section where you can watch videos to earn some small amounts of passive income.
The main problem with AppNana is that it takes forever to cash out, so this is a slower earner than Mistplay.
Rewards include gift cards, in-app purchases, and paid mobile games. This variety is nice, but overall, I’d exhaust your Mistplay games first before trying AppNana.
16. Skillz
Skillz is one of the more interesting apps like Mistplay because it’s actually a game development and promotion platform in and of itself.
In a nutshell, Skillz lets developers host legit cash games on its platform that gamers can play to earn money.
Skillz games usually involve card games, betting games, or skill-based games where players compete against one another with real cash.
Personally, I don’t like the Skillz business model because I don’t like that you have to pay for all these games and risk losing your money.
But, if you want to try more competitive games than Mistplay, Skillz is worth considering.
17. MyPoints
MyPoints is another versatile rewards platform that lets you make money by:
- Shopping online
- Playing mobile games
- Answering surveys
- Watching ads
Surveys and shopping are the main ways to earn, so this isn’t the most similar app like Mistplay out there.
However, what’s nice is that MyPoints gives a $10 free Amazon gift card or prepaid Visa card to new users when they sign up and spend at least $20 on an eligible shopping offer.
So, if you have a shopping trip coming up and also want to play games for cash, MyPoints is worth testing out.
18. InboxDollars
One final alternative to Mistplay you can try out is InboxDollars. This gpt site lets you make money by answering surveys, watching ads, completing polls, and playing games on your computer.
Surveys are definitely the main way to make money with InboxDollars. But it has a gaming section with some classic arcade games that pay you small amounts of cash.
Personally, I tested out InboxDollars while making a YouTube video on different survey sites, and it didn’t work very well for me.
I’ve definitely prefered using Mistplay and similar gaming reward apps, and I found that InboxDollars was super hard to cash out with.
But a lot of users actually like it and use it as their main online hustle. And since I tested it, it lowered its minimum cash out requirement to just $10, which is much more reasonable.
Ultimately, if you want a variety of earning options, InboxDollars is worth testing out. And it has a nice $5 sign up bonus for new users.

Why People Choose Mistplay Alternatives
Mistplay is one of the most popular Android app that pays and currently has over 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store.
There are several reasons people like Mistplay so much. The main reason is you have a lot of reward variety, including free gift cards, Steam codes, and Google Play credit.
Plus, Mistplay lets you cash out many rewards at around $0.50 to $1. This low cash out requirement plus the diverse list of games makes it easy to see why Mistplay is a leader in this space.
However, other apps like Mistplay are still viable ways to make money playing video games.
And, many of these apps also offer free PayPal money or have other features that Mistplay currently lacks. Plus, there are even a few Mistplay iOS alternatives you can use since it’s not available for iPhones.
Tips For Using Apps Like Mistplay To Earn Rewards
Now that you know some of the best apps like Mistplay, I want to cover a few tips for using these gaming reward apps.
Really, the main tip I have is to set some realistic income goals and expectations.
Gaming apps like Mistplay are fun passive side hustle that are ideal if you already enjoy mobile gaming. But if you want to make serious money, none of these apps pay enough.
Really, gig apps like delivering for DoorDash or Instacart pay way more than Mistplay or any other app can manage.
Similarly, other ways to make money online like making money on YouTube or making money with a blog have a way higher earning ceiling.
Long story short: use apps like Mistplay for a fun side hustle but don’t expect to replace your day job!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is There A Better App Than Mistplay
Mistplay is the leading mobile gaming rewards app. However, Gamehag is better than Mistplay if you want to play PC games. Apps like Drop and Kashkick also have more earning options. Rewarded Play is the best Mistplay alternative if you’re focusing on Android gaming.
Are There Apps Like Mistplay For iPhone?
There are several iOS apps like Mistplay that work with iPhones, including:
- Swagbucks
- Drop
- AppNana
- Bubble Cash
- Gamehag
- Bingo Cash
- Solitaire Cash
However, most gaming reward apps aren’t available for iOS because the Apple App Store doesn’t let apps record other app usage the same way the Google Play Store allows.
Gamehag and Blitz Win Cash are probably your best gaming apps for iOS since they have the highest-paying gaming offers.
Final Thoughts
With this list of the best apps like Mistplay, you’re now ready to turn your gaming hobby into a new income source!
Just remember: this is a fun side hustle that’s perfect if you already play games on your phone.
If you want to seriously increase your income, none of these apps are going to make more than $5 to $50 per month, so keep this in mind!
I also made a YouTube video that covers some of the best ways to play games for money. Hopefully, one of these ideas works so you have a fun, high-paying phone job you can do in your spare time.
Happy gaming!
