What Is Surveys2Cash?
Surveys2Cash is a paid surveys website that lets you earn free PayPal money and gift cards for answering surveys and sharing your opinion.
It’s free to sign up for Survey2sCash, and like other get-paid-to websites like Survey Junkie and Swagbucks, you can earn small amounts of money for completing surveys in your spare time.
Overall, it’s a very simple and straightforward website.
So, the real question is: how does this survey website work, and is Surveys2Cash legit?
How Does Surveys2Cash Work?
If you want to earn rewards with Surveys2Cash, the entire process takes five simple steps:
- Sign up for Surveys2Cash
- Complete the optional questionnaire
- Take paid surveys
- Complete your profiles
- Cash out
Time to cover how each step works in more detail!
1. Sign Up
The first step to making money with Surveys2Cash is to create your account.
You sign up with your email address, and you must be 18 or older and a resident of the United States to use Surveys2Cash.
Once you enter your email, you have to add additional info to sign up, including your:
- Name
- Address
- Phone number
- Date of birth
This is all pretty standard for the world of beermoney websites.
However, there’s also a disclaimer at the bottom of the sign up page that states: “By checking the box I consent to receive phone sales calls or SMS text messages – Msg and data rates may apply – from Surveys2Cash, Advertising Inc., Allstate, Blue Dolphin Media, Consumer Council, Dart Data, Lead Force, Mixed Media Holdings, Med Advantage Advisors, Senior Aid Helper, USA Rate Center, Hear Better Now LLC, WeQuote, Vivid Hear and our marketing partners on the landline or mobile number I provided.”
This is honestly a bad sign for Surveys2Cash already. After all, who wants to be potentially spammed just for signing up for a survey site?
I tested this when signing up, and you don’t have to select this box to opt-in to SMS messaging, so keep this in mind.
However, I don’t like the fact that this is even a thing and it feels quite spammy to me!
2. Complete The Questionnaire
Once you create a Surveys2Cash account, the website starts asking you some pretty strange and very personal questions as the next step.
For example, some questions I got were:
- If I’m on disability pay
- If I was wrongfully terminated from my previous job
- If I owe 10k or more in federal taxes
If you look closely, you see even more fineprint that basically lets Surveys2Cash submit your information to its partners if you answer questions as some type of lead generation program.
So, as an example, if you owe a lot in taxes, Surveys2Cash is going to give your information to debt and loan companies, which is once again very spammy!
It’s honestly pretty absurd, and I answered about 15 questions before I was finally able to enter my password to finish creating my account.
3. Answer Surveys
After completing the optional questionnaire, you can finally answer surveys to make money with Surveys2Cash.
Your survey dashboard has a massive list of different survey opportunities.
Each survey describes the:
- Topic
- Estimated time requirement
- Payout amount
For my account, most of my Surveys2Cash surveys are around 10 to 20 minutes and pay $1 to $2.
But the funny thing is, after logging in a few days later, all of my available surveys are missing so I can’t even answer anything.
Normally, when you click on “start survey,” Surveys2Cash opens a new tab and redirects you to whatever survey provider is running the survey.
You get disqualified a lot at the very start or after answering a few prequalifying question which is also a negative of this survey site.
The fact I can’t even answer surveys anymore after a few days is definitely another massive red flag and downside of Surveys2Cash.
4. Complete Your Profiles
If you want to qualify for more surveys and make more money, you can complete various Surveys2Cash profiles.
These profiles are basically short non-paid surveys that helps Surveys2Cash match you with more relevant surveys.
Some of the profiles include:
- Auto
- Personal
- Shopping
- Travel
- Work
It takes a few minutes to complete each survey profile, and again, you’re not getting paid.
Other survey sites like Prolific have a similar process, so anticipate spending 10 to 20 minutes to fully sign up for Surveys2Cash.
5. Cash Out
Once you successfully complete a survey, your earnings deposit in your Surveys2Cash account balance.
Surveys2Cash lets you redeem money for various free gift cards, including ones to retailers like:
- Amazon
- Airbnb
- Chipotle
- GameStop
- Kohl’s
- Macy’s
- Nike
- Starbucks
- Target
- Walmart
You can also redeem cash for different charitable donations.
Surveys2Cash’s homepage shows that you can earn PayPal money, but I don’t see it as one of my reward options which is also a pretty big downside.
Plus, another massive con of Surveys2Cash is that many gift card rewards begin at $10 to $25, so it takes a while to cash out.
For comparison, apps like Fetch Rewards let you redeem rewards at $3, and Swagbucks has gift card rewards starting at just $1.
How Much Does Surveys2Cash Pay?
It wouldn’t be a fair Surveys2Cash review without covering how much this survey site actually pays.
Based on the time estimates and pay you see on your Surveys2Cash dashboard, it looks like you can earn around $4 to $6 per hour.
However, between all the disqualifications and surveys that take longer than the estimate, you’re probably looking at $1 to $3 max.
I got disqualified from SO many surveys, and it’s honestly not a great first experience when every survey you click on just says you’re not eligible.
Other Surveys2Cash Reviews
One of the best ways to tell if reward apps or websites are worth it is to see what other users have to say.
And, here’s the weird thing about Surveys2Cash: there are barely any other reviews out there.
The Facebook page only has 9 likes and barely has any activity. Overall, this seems like an inactive or very sketchy company.
The lack of reviews from other users is concerning, and I’ve honestly never seen anything quite like this for a survey site before.

Pros And Cons
If you’re wondering if Surveys2Cash is a scam or worth using, consider this list of pros and cons.
Pros:
- Variety of gift card rewards.
Cons:
- A very spammy and sketchy website
- A lack of other Surveys2Cash reviews from users on social media
- No PayPal payments
- Low hourly earning potential
The bottom line is the pros definitely outweigh the pros for this survey site, so we think you’re better off skipping Surveys2Cash!
Surveys2Cash Alternatives
If you’re looking for legit sites like Surveys2Cash that are actually worth using, you have plenty of options.
Some Surveys2Cash alternatives you can use to earn small amounts of rewards with include:
- Pinecone Research (U.S. Only): Earn $3 for every single survey you complete and cash out instantly.
- Branded Surveys: Earn bonus points the more surveys you answer every month through the Branded Elite Program!
- Survey Junkie: Answer surveys and redeem your earnings for free gift cards or PayPal money.
- Mistplay: This Android app lets you make money for playing games in your spare time.
- LifePoints: Share your opinion to earn free gift cards and PayPal money.
Survey websites aren’t going to make you rich.
However, unlike Surveys2Cash, these sites at least have large communities, payment proof, and way better rewards.
These sites are also much less sketchy than Surveys2Cash, so you’re much better off using these alternatives.
But again, know that survey sites are a very low-paying side hustle and are really just an extra source of beermoney.
If you want to make more consistent money, your best bet is to use different side gig apps like DoorDash and Instacart since these pay much more per hour.

You must be 18 or older and live in the United States to sign up for Surveys2Cash.
Is Surveys2Cash A Scam?
It’s hard to tell if Surveys2Cash is an outright scam. However, a lack of reviews from other users and an inactive social media profile are two red flags, so we think you should avoid this survey website.
Is Surveys2Cash Legit?
In our opinion, Surveys2Cash isn’t legit because there’s barely any payment proof or information online. Plus, the social media profiles are very inactive.
Furthermore, there are so many ways Surveys2Cash can start spamming you or selling your information to its advertising partners.
I really dislike the signup process and the fact that Surveys2Cash also tries to push you to various debt services or other lead generation funnels.
Overall, this site screams scam, spam, and being a waste of time.
There are so many other ways to make extra cash, so please, don’t waste your time here.
I mean, you could always try different driving gigs or online jobs that pay the same day and make way more money.
