Overall, if you’re looking for a fun side hustle idea to make money by completing tasks in your city, the Premise app could be for you.
How Does The Premise App Work?
The Premise App works in seven simple steps:
- Complete your profile
- Complete locate tasks
- Complete exploration tasks
- Complete training tasks
- Answer Premise surveys
- Cash out
Let’s dive into each step in more detail so you can learn how to make money with the Premise app.
1. Sign Up
To sign up for the Premise app, head over to the Google Play Store or App Store and download it on your phone.
Here are the Premise app requirements:
- Be at least 13 years old
- Have Android and IOS phone
- Live in 1 of the 120+ countries available on the app
One aspect of Premise that makes it an excellent beermoney app is that it’s very internationally friendly.
Premise is currently available in 128 countries, including:
- Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirate
- United Kingdom
- United States
When you register for the app, all you need is an email and password to create an account. You can also choose to sign up directly through Google or Facebook.
2. Complete Your Profile
Similar to most gpt sites, you complete your Premise Data profile after signing up to get more relevant surveys and gig opportunities.
Information you enter to complete your profile includes your:
- Employment status
Make sure you answer these honestly to avoid getting kicked off the app. Plus, accurate answers can help you get even more tasks so you make more money overall.
Keep in mind that you don’t have to fill this out right away if you’d prefer to browse the app first before getting started.
However, the sooner you complete your profile, the sooner you can make money with the Premise app!
3. Complete Locate Tasks
One of the main tasks you can complete with the Premise app is Locate tasks.
These tasks ask you to locate a product or specific location like the name suggests. For example, Premise might ask you to find a specific cereal at a grocery store and fill out information on the process.
Some of the information you fill out on the Premise App includes:
- The name of the product
- A picture of a product or place
- A video of a product or place
- Answering specifics about an item
- Scanning barcodes of items
Locate tasks usually take around 5-10 minutes to complete and pay around $0.50 – $1 for each task. In certain cases, these tasks can take a bit longer but will also pay out up to $10 when completed.
This isn’t a massive amount of money, but if you’re in the general area anyway or are already shopping at a store with a Locate tasks, this is basically free money.
Apps like Gigwalk and Field Agent have similar tasks as well, so this is the secret shopper type work you can find on the app.
4. Complete Exploration Tasks
Exploration tasks are longer tasks than Explore tasks and require answering questions at a certain location.
For example, the Premise app might ask you to go to a specific aisle in a grocery store or a gas station to take pictures of certain products.
As you can see in my app screenshot above, Premise has some exploration tasks that pay $8 for checking out the amenities at some local fuel stations.
While it might seem really easy, the Premise app asks for a lot of photos and answers that need to be clear and precise.
The big differences between Locate tasks and Exploration tasks is the amount of time they take and the amount of questions you need to answer.
Because Exploration tasks take much longer than locate tasks, they tend to pay out way more.
Expect earning around $5 for 20-30 minutes of work.
Some users report earning up to $20 with exploration tasks, so this can be a decent way to make some quick money.
5. Complete Training Tasks
Training tasks are unpaid tasks that teach you a new skill about how to use the Premise app. These skills can be anything from taking proper photos to completing training for a higher paying location-based task.
Now, before you get turned off by the fact that it doesn’t pay anything upon completion, there’s something you should note.
Training tasks helps you unlock more paid tasks in the future which can end up making you more money in the long run.
So, if you’re serious about earning free PayPal money and Bitcoin rewards with Premise, these Training tasks are worth doing.
Plus, Training tasks usually don’t take longer than 5 minutes to complete and make your life easier once you know how to properly use the app.
6. Answer Premise Surveys
Answering surveys on Premise is a great way to make extra money on the app.
While tasks are still the best for earnings, surveys can help you maximize your earning potential and cash out more quickly.
Usually, surveys are multiple choice questions that don’t require much effort at all. Plus, you can answer questions within the app to make money on the go.
Premise surveys usually take about 3 to minutes to complete and pay between $0.05 – $0.10 per survey.
Keep in mind that these surveys can vanish if too many people have completed them. So, make sure you complete them the moment they appear in the app.
7. Cash Out
One downside of sites like InboxDollars and various reward apps is that you often need to earn $30+ to cash out, which can take ages. However, the Premise app has a pretty decent cash out minimum versus other task and survey sites.
The minimum payout threshold depends on how you cash out though.
Here are the different reward options on the Premise app:
- Mobile Top-Up
In the U.S., cashing out with Paypal is going to be your best bet. The minimum cash out is only $10 and gets sent over within a few business days.
Coinbase and Payoneer let you cash out for $15 and $20, respectively.
The Mobile Top-up option has a minimum withdrawal of $6.50, but this option is much less desirable for the average user.
Overall, it’s nice that the Premise app gives you the flexibility to earn PayPal cash, Payoneer cash, or free Bitcoin by going with Coinbase.
Is Premise Legit?
Yes, Premise is a safe and legit app that pays its users for completing tasks and answering surveys. It has over 100,000 positive reviews on the Google Play Store and pays well compared to similar apps.
The only thing to keep in mind is that they do share user data with their partners and affiliates in order to provide more demographic insights to companies.
Also note that this app is just a nice way to make some quick money in your spare time. It’s not a replacement for your full-time job or serious earner.
If you’re okay with that, then the Premise app is definitely legit!
How Much Does The Premise App Pay?
This wouldn’t be an honest Premise app review if we didn’t discuss the earning potential.
Believe it or not, the Premise app actually has some promising returns. Overall, it’s one of the higher-paying micro task and survey apps out there.
If you live in a major city, you can probably make around $5 per day or $150 per month on average if you put in the effort.
According to Premise, it’s paid out millions of dollars in rewards to members, and over $1 million in free Bitcoin!
Just note that some days, you might earn $0 while other days you might make a quick $20 to $50 or more.
Really, how much you make with the Premise app depends on your location and how hard you hustle.
Also note that competition with other Premise Data users impacts your earnings.
If there are a lot of jobs and not many people taking them, you can make money consistently with this app.
The Premise pay isn’t enough to live off of, but it can definitely help pay for utilities or a lunch a few times a week.
All in all, the users seem to be satisfied with what the app has to offer and have reported cashing out pretty quickly with it.

Other Premise App Reviews
One of the best ways to know if Premise is legit is by seeing what other users have to say about the app.
Finding honest reviews on places like Reddit is useful for getting a general idea about pay or any other pros and cons.
Here’s what some other Premise app users are saying on Reddit about their experience:
- Mybackpackismypillow says: “I can generally get 20+ price monitoring tasks per day that I can find at my closest grocery/supermarket. Might vary by location, how many users, etc.”
- ChocoKid says: “I can earn more than $30 per day just by doing price monitor tasks. If other random tasks came up such as take picture of construction/ hiring sign/ home for sell/ rent/ food truck/ graffiti/ park/ etc, I can earn up to $40-$50 per day”
As you can see, users are pretty happy with the pay and features that are offered on Premise.
Some users reported saying that Payoneer was giving them trouble when cashing out. In that case, maybe stick to Paypal for now.
Also, $30-$40 per day doesn’t seem to be an average. It’s more of a once a month kind of thing, so don’t expect to make that much immediately.
This Premise Data review from YouTuber DevinTheDivine also has a lot of useful information about the app.
In his review, Devin shares how he has lots of survey opportunities and Explore tasks in his area that pay him around $1 to $2 per task.
Devin also shows a live cash out for PayPal money, and the process is very simple.
What’s cool is that Devin also has some higher-paying offers in his area that pay around $8 to $10 for completing short tasks, which is actually a pretty high hourly rate.
Overall, most Premise reviews are quite positive, so this is a positive sign for this money-making app.

With that being said, Premise isn’t going to replace your day job. It might be able to pay for some groceries, utilities, or other minor expenses.
