You can create an account and register online. There’s also a free Clickworker app for Android and iOS that you can use.

When you register, you provide information like your country of residence, name, address, and email. You have to verify your phone number as well, so you need a working SMS phone that can accept texts.

Finally, you verify your email to complete registration. Afterwards, you can explore the Clickworker workplace to find open jobs you can complete for some quick cash.

2. Complete Micro Tasks

As a new Clickworker, you spend a bit of time answering some profile questions about your previous work experience. You can also complete short assessments to help Clickwoker understand more of your skills.

From there, you can claim and complete open jobs in the workplace to make extra money.

As for cashing out, Clickworkers are automatically paid during their weekly or bi-weekly payment cycles. Payment is made via PayPal, SEPA or Payoneer.

Also note that tasks can take a while to get approved. This means it can take a few weeks for money from a task to actually reach your Clickworker account.

Don’t fret; this is just how the platform works, and Clickworker’s clients need time to verify tasks. If you do a job, you will get paid and can cash out.

In addition to completing tasks on Clickwoorker, you can also earn referral income. Users can earn $5 for each new Clickworker that they refer to the platform. This new user referral needs to earn at least $10 through Clickworker before this bonus is paid.

I found the Clickworker site was very easy to use and understand as well. And the fact it accepts freelancers from around the world is a massive selling point.

The main reason people don’t like Clickworker is that it can take a while to get paid. But once clients approve your work, the money appears in your account and you can cash out if you have at least $10.

Final Thoughts

It seems from general consensus on various reviews and forums like Quora and Reddit, that opinions on Clickworker are mixed. Some users are convinced that this microtask website is a scam, and others have had positive experiences on the site.

Those who have made money on Clickworker do seem to agree, that while you can earn income, the pay is overall extremely low. However, it’s an easy way to boost your income while working from home.

Personally,  I’m not fully comfortable with the fact that they are based outside the United States, and some of the information they are requesting seems too private.

For example,  I’m not comfortable giving my Social Security number (which is required for U.S. users) and some tasks appear to require additional personal information as well.

Some users report also being asked to share copies of their driver’s license, passports, and even photos of their children, which is a red flag for me.
