However, a lot of these apps aren’t always worth your time. Or, at least, some of these apps don’t pay very much per hour.

So today, we’re looking at another very popular app in this space with over 5 million downloads: Fitplay.

Fitplay is a free rewards app for Android that lets you earn free gift cards and PayPal money for playing new mobile games.

If you use other gaming reward apps like Mistplay or AppNana, this type of app is going to be very familiar.

The idea is pretty simple: just download new mobile games, play them, and slowly earn coins for your efforts.

You can then cash out coins for different rewards, essentially turning your gaming time into a humble source of passive income.

How Does Fitplay Work?

If you want to make money with Fitplay, the process takes five simple steps:

1. Download Fitplay and create an account
2. Allow app monitoring access
3. Earn coins for playing new mobile games

2. Allow App Usage Tracking

Like other gaming reward apps, you have to give Fitplay “app usage tracking” permission in your phone’s settings to make money with Fitplay.

The reason for this is that Fitplay needs to monitor how long you spend playing games so it can pay you with coins.

This is the same process Mistplay and other apps use to determine how much you earn, so don’t be too alarmed by this step.

3. Download Games To Play

Fitplay states it has numerous game genres you can choose from, including:

• Strategy
• Action
• Puzzle
• Adventure
• Arcade

And, when I read other Fitplay app reviews, I see that Fitplay does have some well-known games like Raid Shadow Legends, Rise of Kingdoms, AFK Arena, Lucktastic, and Coin Dozer.

But, while I’ve been testing Fitplay, I haven’t been able to download any mobile games.

I don’t know if this is because I’m in Canada right now, but under my games tab, all I can see is a sign-up offer for Crypto.com.

This is a massive downside for me, and it basically means I can’t even use Fitplay to earn any rewards.

Again, I don’t know if this is because I’m in Canada or if this is a bug with the current app, but I digress.

According to other reviews, it seems like Fitplay games selection is decent, but unfortunately, you need to test the app in your area to see for yourself.

In any case, games display how many coins they pay per minute you play, which is the same as apps like AppStation.

So, if Fitplay has games in your area, you can theoretically download different mobile games, play them, and passively earn coins.

4. Refer Friends

Another way to earn Fitplay coins is to refer your friends. This is a common feature of gpt apps, and it’s nice you can at least try the app with some friends and benefit from Fitplay’s referral program.

So, how does this referral program work?

Well, it’s actually pretty decent. When you refer someone to Fitplay, you earn 25% of all the coins they earn, and your referral earns 25% of all of the coins you earn.

It’s pretty rare for a referral program to award both people equally, so this is a decent way to get more free rewards (assuming you can actually download games in your area.)

5. Cash Out

As mentioned, Fitplay pays you with coins for playing different games.

And, according to the Google Play store page, you can redeem coins for:

• PayPal cash
• Google Play credit
• Free Steam codes
• Playstation gift cards

However, once again, my rewards section looks pretty different than I thought it would.

Currently, I can only cash out PayPal cash, Amazon gift cards, or Starbucks gift cards.

On the bright side, PayPal is still available, and it looks like the minimum cash out requirement is only $0.50 USD for PayPal, which is extremely low for any reward apps.

How Much Does Fitplay Pay?

It’s unfortunate I can’t download any Fitplay games to test this app out myself, so I apologize for that fact.

In any case, from the other Fitplay reviews I’ve read, it seems like you can earn a few thousand coins from various games before it becomes harder and harder to earn coins.

This is a common problem with gaming reward apps, and you’ll often find that games stop paying after a certain amount.

Now, in my case, Fitplay has $0 per month in earning potential which is very bad.

However, if you can download several games in your area, I’d expect this is a $5 to $20 per month app tops, and even then, your earnings slow down unless you keep downloading more games.

Is Fitplay Legit?

In my opinion, something weird is going on with Fitplay right now and the company might be shutting down. From recent user reviews, it seems like people used to like the app but can’t reach customer support now or even catch out.

Additionally, the fact that the main Fitplay website is down is concerning, so I think this app isn’t legit anymore.

You can try out the app if you want, but I think you’re better off using apps like Mistplay or Rewarded Play instead to earn rewards.

Honestly, if you don’t play mobile games regularly, I don’t think this app is worth using at all.

And, again, you have to test out your area to see if you can even download Fitplay games in the first place.

In my opinion, you shouldn’t use Fitplay to earn rewards for mobile gaming, even if you enjoy playing mobile games.

This is because there are numerous Fitplay alternatives that have better track records, more games, and more rewards.

Some apps like Fitplay you can try include:

• Coin Pop
• AppNana
• Flash Rewards
• AppStation
• App Flame
• Rewarded Play

Additionally, if you prefer PC gaming, you can also try platforms like Gamehag or Gamekit and earn free gift cards for playing different PC games.

I think Mistplay and Gamehag are the best platforms in this category. However, no mobile gaming app will ever make you rich.

You can make money playing video games, but the highest-paying options involve things like winning tournaments, streaming on Twitch, or starting a YouTube channel.

So, I’d only consider any of these apps if you actively play mobile games on your phone every day and want to earn some small rewards for your efforts.

If you need more serious cash, I think gig apps like delivering for DoorDash or Uber Eats is a way better option since you can earn more than minimum wage.
